Adult Ministry

At PHBC we want to minister to the whole person, regardless of age. We have a number of ways in which our adults are expected to get actively involved in ministry.

The primary adult ministry of PHBC is our weekly worship gathering. During this gathering men and women and boys and girls lift up their voices and sing praises to our Lord. The singing is followed by the regular preaching of God's Word. We believe that the Word of God, when accompanied by the Spirit of God, has the power to change lives.

All members of PHBC are encouraged to be involved in a growth group of some kind. We also provide various men's and women's ministry opportunities.

Men's Ministry

The purposes of our men's ministry are fivefold. First, we strive to educate men on the roles God calls them to fulfill. Second, we believe men ought to be active in their service to the church and the community. Third, men should develop and enter into mutually accountable relationships with one another. Fourth, men should use their talents and passions to be active witnesses for Christ. And, fifth, our men's ministry should provide a place of support for men.

Women's Ministry

Our women’s ministry exists to help every woman feel loved, accepted, encouraged, and equipped to pursue a passionate, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

We strive to provide events and opportunities for all ladies to learn from God’s word, develop meaningful relationships with sisters in Christ, and live life together.
