What to Expect

When you visit Potomac Heights Baptist Church, you should expect:

To hear the good news that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who died on the cross, in our place, to save us from the consequences of our sin, and that by repentance of sins and belief in his name we may be reconciled to God and have life everlasting

To be warmly welcomed and loved no matter who you are, where you are from, or what you are wearing

To hear about how you can plug into the life at the PHBC, including small groups, discipleship opportunities, and special events

First time at PHBC

When you come in the door, expect to be welcomed with a smile. A member of our greeter team will help you get acclimated to the church. If you have children, someone will show you to our children's (preschool, elementary, middle, and high school) ministry areas.

If you would like to attend a Sunday small group (9:00am), we'll tell you about the available options and show you to your room. If you plan on attending worship (10:30am), the greeter will help you find a seat in our worship center.

Worship at PHBC

We make no apologies for our worship services being for Jesus and about Jesus.

The preaching ministry of our Lead Pastor Brian Sandifer is simple: we walk word by word and line by line through the Bible, understanding it as God’s final revelation to us and the authoritative source of teaching for every aspect of our lives.
